The Empowerment Pathway: Workshop Event Details
Workshop 1 Valuable Money Skills for Families (virtual)
Date: March 25, 2026
Join us for the kickoff of Anchored: A Financial Empowerment Series where attendees will "Drop the Anchor". This is a virtual event that will take place on Zoom. The session will cover essential money concepts, managing family finances, earning income, understanding credit, and practical tips for building strong money habits.
Workshop 2 (in-person)
Date: July 25, 2026
During this interactive, in‑person event, attendees will learn how to “Adjust your Anchors”. The internal habits, beliefs, and default behaviors that guide their everyday financial decisions. Through guided reflection and real‑life scenario practice, participants will explore how their current patterns may be keeping them in a cycle of instability and begin building a foundation for smart financial choices.

During this practical, resource driven in person event, attendees will “Secure the Dock” by strengthening the external supports that stabilize their financial journey. Through on site resource tables and direct introductions to organizations, attendees will discover the tools, and community connections available to help them maintain momentum and continue progressing toward their goals.

Empowerment Badges

Attendees can earn Empowerment Badges throughout the in-person events by taking part in the various interactive activities offered at different stations. Each time a participant joins a short mini‑session, visits a partner or community organization table, completes a quick learning challenge, engages with presenters by asking a question, or tries a financial skills activity, they have a chance to receive one badge.
Earn Empowerment Badges to be entered into our live raffle—multiple winners will be selected at each event! You must be present at the time of the drawing to claim your prize.

The Financial Empowerment Series is for residents who received an invitation email from Laveer Logix. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, check your email invitation or contact our team for confirmation.
Do I need to attend all three events?
No. You’re welcome to attend one, two, or all three events—whatever works best for your schedule. There will be different resources available at each event.
Is there a fee to attend?
No, all workshops are free to attend.

How long will the fair last?
The time will be announced soon. You can arrive anytime during event hours, but we recommend coming early to take full advantage of available services.
What should I bring with me to the in-person workshops?
Bring a valid photo ID. Bring a phone or notebook for taking notes, and any questions you’d like to ask presenters or organizations. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as you may move between stations.

Will the virtual workshop offer sessions in both English and Spanish?
Yes. The virtual event includes an English session at 6:00 PM and a Spanish session at 7:30 PM.
How do I earn Empowerment Badges?
Attendees earn badges by visiting activity stations, attending mini‑sessions, meeting community organizations, completing learning challenges, and engaging in financial skills activities. Badges will be offered at the IN-PERSON events only.
Can I bring my children?
Yes. The first virtual workshop is intended for families. The in-person event is also family-friendly, and there will be activities for children of all ages.
Will there be food or refreshments?
Yes! Light bites and drinks will be provided for all attendees. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please reach out to a team member.
